Friend asked:
Dear all,
Dear all,
I would like to start a estore website, from that I am planning to run a affiliate programme. I have seen in many websites running affiliate programmes by giving an URL link of the same website with affiliate Id. And they are giving that link as a free website. It looks same as the parent website, It is hardly taking less than 30 seconds.
I am eager to know how the url link is generated, does this process requires any third party software, if so can any of you suggest what are mosft famous softwares for this process.
please educate me in this scenario, your suggestions will be highly appreciated.
Thank you

i have the answer for you (msn)
Hi, this is a “white label” solution.
Essentially, the parent website uses technology to serve the exact site up for affiliate but uses a coded paramater on the end of the URL to identify which affiliate partner.
For example will track sales/transactions generated for the affiliate with the ID 1.
At the point when a visitor comes in on the URL the affiliateID=1 parameter will probably be captured by the first party cookie and thus at the point of sale, the software will pull the parameter frmo the cookie and this is how transactions are tracked for each affiliate.
Typically, white label solutions offer some level of rebranding to differentiate from each other.
With regards to software, you would actually implement this simple tracking solution yourself as essentially all you are doing is tagging a sale (in the cookie) through the dynamic parameter (?affiliateID=1).
Personally, I wouldn’t recommend this as a good affiliate solution capable of generating you sales but for the time it would take you to implement it’s worth trialing.
I would recommend off the shelf software such as:, but shop around this query will get you started:=
